Established for the purpose of improving, guiding and inspiring the lives of the
underprivileged, the Global foundation facilitates programs and gives direct assistance
and resources to individuals, families and other charitable organizations.
|
|
A committee of trustees, drawn from various fields runs the foundation. The committee
ensures that the objectives of the trust as listed in the trust deed are achieved
|
|
Independent trustees govern the foundation with the help of an advisory committee.
The trustees are experienced professionals with a passion to make, this world a
better place to live in. The trustees are from diverse background, qualification
and age, thus bringing in due thought, care and concern in selection of projects
bearing the needs of the targeted beneficiaries.

At the grass root level, GTL's staff and volunteers - known as Positrons (people
radiating positive energy) extend their valuable time towards social causes.

:: Mr. Manoj G Tirodkar
|
Life Trustee
|
|
|
Mr. Tirodkar, as Life Trustee, is the guiding force for the Foundation’s activities.
He takes active interest in participating in the foundation activities and shapes
the foundation’s activities by his vision. He helps the foundation in raising
the requisite resources - financial and managerial for undertaking over 18 projects.
The cause of children and their education is close to his heart, and he takes a
keen interest in projects that help the children.

:: Mr. K. V. Seshadri
|
Trustee
|
|
|
Mr. Seshadri, as the Trustee, has been championing the cause
of the foundation since inception. His age of 65 years does not come in the way
of his enthusiasm and zeal for the foundation. A postgraduate in Management studies,
Mr. Seshadri was with Indian Air Force for 30 years and retired as a Group Captain.
He is awarded the Gallantary Award “Shaurya Chakra” by the President
of India. After retirement from the IAF, he joined the corporate sector and had
specialized in Budgets and Finance.

:: Rufina Fernandes

|
|
|
Ms. Rufina Fernandes is a Post Graduate in Business Management from Xavier Institute
of Management and Research (XIMR), Mumbai. She has more than 23 years of work experience
in Strategy, HR, Media/Communication, CSR and Non-Profit Management.
Prior to re-joining the Global Group, Ms.Fernandes has worked with organizations like NASSCOM Foundation
as it’s Founding CEO, Crest Animation Studios Mumbai as the Head – HR and Strategy,
and at VBHC Education services, Bangalore as Business Head – EnTEEF (School ERP
System). Her last stint was as C.E.O. with the Indian Staffing Federation, New Delhi.

:: Mr. Eugene Valles

|
|
|
Mr. Valles, as Trustee, brings in employee perspective to the Foundation’s
activities as head HR of GTL Limited. Employees of Global Group enterprises volunteer
their personal time towards the social causes. Mr. Valles brings together the various
volunteers and helps the foundation execute the projects successfully.

:: Mr. Milind Bapat

|
|
Mr. Bapat, as Trustee, brings in his financial acumen and energy to drive the various
initiatives undertaken by the Foundation. Mr Bapat heads the Finance function at
GTL, and has a rich experience of over 2 decades in the Finance field.

:: Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar
|

|
|
Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar has an overall experience of 11 years in Sales & Marketing,
Business Development & Execution of projects. Currently he is Senior Vice President,
GTL Limited, handling Sales & Marketing, Business Development for the Power sector.
He has also gained wide experience in India encompassing majority of operators &
OEM?s. While taking responsibility for leading teams from Sales & Marketing, he
has built excellent relationships with Telecom Operators, OEM?s, BOOL as well as
SEB?s in the transmission line business & also introduced transmission & wind energy
as an additional revenue during his tenure with Global Towers as Executive Director.

:: Mr. Manoj Menon

|
Mr. Manoj Menon has vast experience in initiating and executing various Corporate
Social Responsibility programmes. He has helped the Foundation in effectively in
rolling out the various initiatives especially EFP, assisted by a dedicated team
of CSR Personnel at GTL Limited. He has over 20 years of experience in the Company
and has worked in various capacities during his career with the Global Group. He
brings in passion and enthusiasm for carrying out various projects and facilitates
the team to make them successful.

An advisory committee, comprising of senior management from the Group, aids the
Trustees of the foundation. The senior management brings in the much needed experience
and focus to the activities carried out by the foundation. The advisory committee
consists of the following people.

:: Mr. Charudatta Naik
|
Group CEO
|
|
|
Mr. Charudatta Naik has an experience of over 24 years in the telecom industry spanning
across, Technical Support, Sales & Marketing and Business Operations.
|
|
|
|
He is on the board of GTL Infrastructure Limited. He is also on the advisory board
of Global Foundation, the charitable arm of the Global Group. Mr. Charudatta Naik
provides strategic guidance to Group Companies to enhance the Groups growth potential,
globally.
|
|
|
|
Mr. Charudatta Naik has earlier worked with companies like Crompton Greaves and
Unitel Communications.
|
|
|
|
He is an Engineering Graduate in Electronics & Telecom.
|
|
|

:: Mr. S. K. Roy
|
Whole-Time Director & COO-GTL Limited
|
|
|
Mr. S K Roy as Whole-Time Director & Chief Operating Officer is responsible for
Managing Growth, Profitability and Operations of the Company.
|
|
|
|
Mr. Roy has an overall experience of over 28 years in Business Management, Strategic
Planning, Sales and Marketing in IT services, Telecom & System Integration industries.
|
|
|
|
He has been associated with GTL for over 15 years and has worked as an Operational
Head as well as pioneered & headed the Company?s Consumer Telecom Business. Mr.
Roy served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO), prior to taking on his current
role. In the past he has worked with companies like Philips and ET&T.

Mr. Roy holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Bachelors
degree in Engineering and Master of Engineering from Calcutta University.
